So I just finished watching the Twilight movie. It wasn’t bad but it left out a lot of things. The descriptions were so good in the book—I guess it’s hard to make that seen since they’re intangible. I guess the next step from reading the book and watching the movie is reading the next book, New Moon. I got it from Ailene tonight…I’m sorta excited but it’s so thick -_-. We’ll see what happens. I think I’ll definitely read it before New Moon shows in the theatres haha (which is in November).

Edward Cullen, not Rob Pattinson, is dreamy. If I knew a guy who had eyes like that, I’d jump on them. I think the sheer will to risk everything to save the girl is definitely a turn on. Then again, he can’t die because he’s a vampire. But I mean, the passion’s there. Hot. I don’t think I have the balls to get with a vampire. So props to Bella for that. The only thing missing from the whole package, at least for me, was the voice. I imagined a WAY sexier voice. Deep. To match his rugged experience and life and his fierceness. But can’t blame the British guy trying on an American accent.
Oh, I was also surprised how multicultural the cast was. I imagined everyone being white for some reason. Ah cultural and societal constructs! But I won’t talk about that (haha, maybe I will when Anneba’s around =P).

On other news, I went to my first cake decorating class today with Pear and Hanna. I was pretty much amazed during the whole class, absorbing all the information I can. I learn visually so I got Pear to take notes for me (thanks Pear!). The homework for next class is to bake a cake and successfully frost it. OYE. I have to buy all these supplies but I’m so broke. I better put these materials to good use—you will probably get a cake from me one of these days, whether it is your birthday or not.
What’s in store tomorrow? Work, gym, probably gonna get my financials straightened out and finally make myself a budget, start New Moon, watch more of Alec’s 3-disc Twilight DVD. [I have a feeling only three of what’s listed will be accomplished.)
What’s in store for the weekend? Helping Anneba out with an Easter thing, Luncheon with Lola @ church, Vagina Monologues featuring Maritel and Matt’s mom, Easter with the family, gym?
Random note: I need to find myself a Foxfields dress. No more happy hours until after Foxfields.
